RealTalk With The Shop Boyz

Real talk, when I first heard this song I was like wtf is this lol. After a few more plays it started sounding better. When I went to the club cats was going crazy. Everytime they played it at Summer Jam people got mad hype. They got a hit single, so its just a matter of if they can get another one poppin. I will post video from their listening session later. RockStar Mentality is in stores June 19th.

first time i heard the song, i labeled it (and the shop boyz) straight trash…but now, after seeing the reaction its gotten…and hearin a few interwiews…i hate to flip-flop, but i respect these boys for just tryin to make it out the trap…they’re not tryin to act like they’re the most lyrical artists…without hesitation they said their 2 biggest influences were dem franchize boys & d4l (not many people would admit that)…but these boys are real, and i definately respect that…and i’m lookin forward to that remix…dipset, weezy, jeezy, the hit-maker t-pain…it could be a problem

from a person who likes both rock and hip hop respectively, the shop boyz put out a mockery of both genres.

but wateva, its a hit right.

Niggas mad incoherent. As for the interview itself, shit’s dull and there’s no connection between the interviewer and the interviee. Bunch of “so what are..” “so how did..” “so when do..” type of questions. Step it up.

I agree with you EASHIA.. i know 80% of the cats on here never made a hit record or know how to write good music but yet they hate on people that made it (for right now). Its not easy to get a hit record.. BUT ITS EASY TO DIS PEOPLE THAT WORK HARD TO GET THERE. Thats why some stay loosers and people bypass them because the loosers will always hate. Dont get me wrong… ITS OK TO NOT LIKE SOMETHING. Just because you dont like something does not mean you a hater but there is a differnece and i can tell right away… If me and the dude down the block did the same thing (in this case D4L) and they were getting money with this crazy snap music and im doinf snap music in my basement for nothing playing around then you damn right im gonna look at what these dudes did and make my cake also.. REAL TALK… BE REAL PEEPS!!!!
